Search in Projects or in Sub-projects?

A Project search uses criteria that are more general than in a Sub-project search, such as sales summaries, periodical sales etc.
Search criteria in sub-projects are typically related to languages or suppliers. This is triggered in the SP List .

Example of a sub-project search

You want to assess the turnover of all jobs into Russian received in 2013, excluding those orders received from a certain client Typhon Inc.

In the SubProject list view open the  Selection...  menu and select  Search...  .

In the Search screen enter:

oin the field 'Source language': RU (or whatever language code you are using)
oin the field "Order In": 2013

Click  Add query  (you are in fact adding another "logical OR" criterion)

oin the target language field: RU (or whatever language code you are using)
oin the field "Order In": 2013

Click  Add query

Click

Again, open the  Selection...  menu and select  Search...

In the Search screen enter:

oTyphon in the client name field (or the client ID in the ID field)
ocheck the Reversed search checkbox
ocheck the  Restrict to found set  option (since you are searching among the projects just found)

Depending on the number of sub-projects present in your database the search may take a while.
