The lists in this screen provide data sources for various program sections.
Prices entered here can be imported into client profiles. Four price levels can be pre-defined - when importing into a client profile you can assign any one of these to that specific client profile.
Price groups or categories allow the filtering of price entries. By assigning a price group (or category) to price entries you will make it available in that group. You can then assign, e.g., a set of Eastern European prices to a customer with mainly Eastern European translation requirements.
Global price adjustments
At the bottom of each column you will find a calculation tool for global price adjustments. You will be prompted to enter a percentage and the number of rounding decimals. In the next step you can apply the same price change to existing client prices. To do so go to the Client List screen and select the den command from the "Clients" menu.

The entries in this table provide the information of languages and their corresponding ISO codes. While in Project Management etc. you will simply work with the codes shown here the full language name will automatically appear on your invoices, offers etc.
Note that both language names and codes can be edited.
If you like, remove rare languages from TOM's original language list if you are sure you won't ever need them!
TM language codes in the languages table
For TOM to identify languages from a TM report file, enter the codes used by Trados and Across to identify their languages. This is a must for the automated extraction of languages and subsequent creation of TM analyses and SPs.
Services / Articles (products)
These entries are shown in a dropdown list in Project Management from which they can be inserted as a sub-project item. Prices will be shown as well and can be adopted with just one mouse click.
Apart from services or products you may wish to add frequently used target languages to this list as well to speed up sub-project creation (in most cases without a price, because these are usually client-specific).
Product groups ...
... are optional criteria that can be used to enhance your project statistics. e.g., you can summarize exotic languages in groups to arrive at more meaningful results.
The product group names entered will be adopted automatically in any new sub-project if the sub-project name matches the article name in this list. In case it doesn't you have the option of selecting one from a drop-down list in the sub-project.
You can apply product groups to your existing projects at any time (click button "Set product groups"). In doing so there will typically be many sub-projects whose name won't match any of the articles in the list. You can summarize those under the name provided at the bottom left of the window. It is obvious that product groupifications will become more meaningful the more sub-project names match the names in the Articles list and can thus be assigned specific group names.
Subjects / Technical fields
The entries in this table are offered mainly in drop-down lists in the Client, Translator and Project sections.
